To add the .gpx track to Google My Maps, open Google Maps and click on menu. Select "Your Places", then "Maps". Click on "Create Map", then add a layer and select import. When you see your map, click on "Share" and provide a name and description. Change the share options to anyone. Now click on the 3 vertical dots and select "Embed on your site", copy the code and insert it on the source view of the page.
To add the .gpx file as a link, it needs to be zipped in order to force a download when the link is clicked on. To zip a file, open File Explorer from the taskbar. Right-click the file you want to zip, and then select Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
To create an elevation profile, use this website: https://www.gpsvisualizer.com/. Select Profiles/Elevation and use 600 pixels wide by 300 high, with an 80 pixel border. Brouse for the .gpx file, set PNG as the file type, and draw the profile.
