Playing Rules
  • Twenty scored hands must be played consecutively.
  • Host team will keep the Tally Sheet, countersigned by Guest.
  • Hosts should provide a separate Tally sheet for their Guest to keep a confirming score (it's amazing how often they are different!)
  • Use duplicate scoring, each hand scored individually.
  • If in doubt as to the scoring, use the “Instant Duplicate Calculator”, available on this web site, or on paper by request.
  • If a deal is passed out, the dealer re-deals.
  • Honours are NOT awarded.
  • If you have e-mail, as soon as possible after the game, host to send a message to Ian Smith (CC to Guest) advising the total scores.
  • Otherwise, host to send/give the score sheet to Ian as soon as it is convenient
  

 

Wind-up Party Every year in November, we have a party to end that year's competition.  The Champion and other winners are announced and prizes are presented to the six teams with the highest number of total points recorded over the games each team played. 

Our pot luck dinner is always pretty darned good and afterwards we play a little fun bridge for the loony entry fee.  The winners this year were Diane and Rod Campbell.
